Naval Damage Control is the premier community gathering for naval, civilian and industry stakeholders. An annual event providing the international maritime community with the opportunity to share innovations in both technology and procedure in a focused and dedicated learning environment. During the 2016 event there were demonstrations, frequent networking sessions and presentations, in which, CSD was very proud to take part and share our wealth of knowledge and industry experience regarding the compartmentalisation and critical role multi-cable transits and penetrations.
CSD UK's Technical Director, Peter Litchfield spent time assessing the Naval Ship and FTP 2010 codes, highlighting weaknesses through “AO” and “A-60” fire divisions and advising on the latest technology system solutions throughout his presetnation. Peter Litchfield said, "This was a great opportunity to share knowledge and discuss opportunities with various members of the Naval community. At CSD it is important that any area for concern be frequently examined and dissected in order to provide the best solution. I look forward to next year's event."
CSD also attended this event with the team from Coltraco Ultrasonics and we look forward to strengthening this successful partnership through future events.
