CSD supports BUPA Great North Run for a great cause

With over 54,000 runners taking part in this years BUPA Great North Run CSD Sealing Systems was delighted to support their own runner Ian Joynson by sponsoring him and his chosen charity. Ian was inspired to join in the Great North Run this year in memory of his father and mother in law who sadly lost their battle with cancer.
“After the fantastic support provided by Macmillan Cancer Support not only to my father and mother in law during their illness, but also the advice and guidance given to our family, I promised my father that if I was able to repay a small amount of money spent by this wonderful organization I would.”
Ian’s effort saw him complete the run in fantastic time of 1 hour 54 minutes, and he is already looking forward to taking part next year.
